2017 Annual Exhibition

2017 Exhibition Opening

L-R, Polly Williams (Exhibition Secretary), Nigel Plant (Club President), Cllr Pat Fraser (Hebden Royd mayor), Christine Bampton Smith (consort).

On Saturday 25th August Hebden Royd mayor Pat Fraser opened our 2017 annual exhibition at the Hebden Bridge Town Hall. The club would like to thank the mayor and her consort for taking time out of their weekend to open the exhibition for us and for their warm and supportive comments both about the exhibition and quality of imagery on show.

The exhibition is open free of charge to the public between the hours of 10am and 4pm. After Saturday 25th, it will run from Monday 28th of August to the 2nd of September. We will have stewards from the club available each day to answer any questions you may have about the club or the images.

We encourage members of the public to vote for their three favourite photographs. We award a trophy to the photographer with the highest cumulative score of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. You can see last year’s top three images hanging in the Town Hall Café. We also publish the top three images here on the website.

Our club’s 2018 calendar of local photographs will be on sale during the week priced at £5.

Special thanks from all our members go to Polly Williams who was this years’ Exhibition Secretary, organising and overseeing the event from start to finish.
