Last Saturday was the 4^th and final round of the Inter-Club Colour Group competition.

The set subject was ‘Minimal’ and our entry “Iced Umbellifer” scored 17

For the set theme ‘Nature’ congratulations are given to Ian for scoring 20 points with “Green Lacewing”.

In the general section, Hoi An Fishing Boat and Red Kite both scored 18 while Rot Fai Market Bangkok scored 16.

A total of 89 gives us 6^th position on the night and more importantly nudges us up to equal 5^th in the overall table. The final scores are below.

The next round of Inter-Club competitions starts on 20^th October at Pudsey CC with “At Work” the subject and “Travel” the Theme.  Judge: Erica Oram.

Other subjects in 2018/19 are Hidden,  Opposites  and  Derelict Beauty.

Last Saturday was the 3^rd round of the interclub competition and despite the meeting being cancelled due to the snowy weather (mini-beast from the east) we now have the results…

For the set subject “Reflection”, congratulations are to be given to Rory for “Near Perfect Mirror”.

For the set theme “Record” Mike scored 16 with “Organ, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow”

In the general section “Time for Walkies” and “Bride Stones” were both awarded 15 points while “Grey Seal Giving Chase was awarded 17.

A total of 83 gives us 5^th position on the night and brings our total to 247 or 7^th in the overall table.

With just one round to go we are only a single point behind Leeds Co-op, so get you best shots into the selection and we could finish in the top half of the table! Round 4 is coming up in mid-April, the set subject is “Minimal” and set theme is “Nature”.
