Trophies 2023

Last Wednesday during the final club meeting of the year, the trophies were awarded for the various competitions run by the club.

Also during the evening members enjoyed food & drink, 2 photography related quizzes, a preview of next year’s presentations and a rolling display of this year’s awarded images.

YPU Success

Hebden Bridge have come equal 10th in the 2023 exhibition, scoring an average of 13.6 out of 15 – an excellent result. Acceptances have been achieved by Barbara, Bill, Max, Nigel, Ian, Peter & Sam. Special mention to Sam for getting an award for his PDI image It’s In Here Somewhere, and to Bill for his print In The Cold Midwinter that won the open colour section. Congratulations to you all.

2023 was a record year for the number of entries: 3797 images from 396 authors from 47 clubs. Next year the 125th Annual Assembly and Exhibition will be hosted by Barnsley Photographic Society.

Annual Exhibition 2023

This year’s exhibition is taking place from Saturday 26th August to Saturday 2nd September in Hebden Bridge Town Hall. Each member may exhibit up to 3 prints and there will be an opportunity to vote for your favourites, find out more about the club and buy from a selection of other prints from our members.
