Hebden Bridge Camera Club once again retained the Gavel Trophy in their annual photographic battle with Todmorden Photographic Society on March 6th. This marks the 10th consecutive year that Hebden has been victorious in the competition. Due to unforeseen circumstances Todmorden were unable to host the battle this year, so the win was also on home ground for Hebden Bridge.

Both clubs produced some excellent images, but a string of 20s in the projected images helped to give Hebden a convincing lead. The overall scores were 169 points to Hebden Bridge and 148 to Todmorden.
